About CultivX
An agriculture company that builds its own technology.
CultivX starts with the crop and the grower. We find problems that cost farms time, water, labour or yield, and build products that remove them. We are based in Nashik, in the middle of one of India's busiest growing regions.
Why we exist
The problem comes first.
Most agricultural technology fails not because the engineering is weak, but because it answers a question no grower was asking. A sensor that measures something nobody acts on. A dashboard that adds work instead of removing it.
We work the other way round. We go to the field, understand today's workaround and what it costs, and only then decide which technology fits: hardware, software, data, automation, or a mix.
That is slower at the start. It is also how products end up being used every day rather than demonstrated once.

Sensors without action are noise. Intelligence without a physical link to the field is theory. The strongest products combine both.

A product has to survive the season, earn its place in daily work and be worth what it costs, before it is worth scaling.

What does CultivX do?
CultivX is an agriculture technology company. We look for real problems on farms, then build our own products to solve them, combining hardware, software, data and automation as the problem needs.
What are you building right now?
Our first product is a wireless controller for irrigation valves, in development. We are also researching field sensing, crop-health detection and automation. Each product page shows its honest stage: Research, In development or Pilot.
Can my farm take part in a pilot?
We are speaking with growers and farmer producer organisations who want to test products on real plots. Tell us about your farm, crops and location through the contact form.
Do you only work in Maharashtra?
We are based in Nashik and start close to home, where we can be on the field ourselves. Products are designed for Indian conditions generally.
Is CultivX a software or IT services company?
No. CultivX builds and sells its own agricultural products. We do not take on software or technology projects for other businesses.
