Technology

Engineered for the field, not the lab.

Heat, dust, monsoon, power cuts and weak networks are not edge cases in agriculture. They are the environment. Everything we build starts from there.

Design rules

Six rules every product follows

If a device cannot meet these, it does not go to a farm.

  1. 01

    Offline first

Every device keeps doing its job when the network drops, and catches up when it returns.

  2. 02

    Fail safe

If something goes wrong, the default is off: no valve left open, no motor left running.

  3. 03

    Built for the weather

Sealed enclosures, wide temperature ranges and protection from water and dust.

  4. 04

    Simple to operate

Physical switches for the basics. The app adds control, it does not replace it.

  5. 05

    Honest about stage

Every product is labelled Research, In development or Pilot until it is proven in the field.

  6. 06

    Data stays with the farm

Each farm's data is kept separate, and growers decide who sees it.

Disciplines

From the device in the field to the phone in the grower's hand

The problem decides which of these a product needs. Most need several.

  • EDGE

    Embedded and IoT

Controllers and sensors built for heat, dust, moisture and unreliable power.

  • LINK

    Connectivity

Wi-Fi today, with cellular and long-range radio planned for remote plots and patchy rural networks.

  • CLOUD

    Cloud and data

Pipelines that survive intermittent connections and keep each farm's data separate and secure.

  • VISION

    Computer vision

On-device perception for crops and plants, tuned for real light and real fields.

  • AUTO

    Automation and robotics

Physical systems that act on the field: precisely, repeatably and safely.

  • APPS

    Farm software

Mobile and web tools designed for the people who use them, in their language and units.

How it fits together

Field, signal, insight, action.

Devices sense and act in the field. Data travels when the network allows. Software turns it into a clear next step, and the grower stays in control.

Devices talk to our platform, never directly to apps, so access can be controlled for each farm and each person.

  1. 01FieldControllers and sensors on the plot, built to work on their own.
  2. 02SignalReadings and commands over Wi-Fi today, with cellular and long-range radio planned.
  3. 03InsightEach farm's data kept separate, turned into schedules, alerts and trends.
  4. 04ActionFrom an app or the device's own switches: whichever is closer to hand.
